A great day at the beach!!

Today was an awesome day at the beach...the ocean was clear and warm and it was a perfectly sunny day!! After nap time we went out to dinner and then headed to Jockey's Ridge to climb the huge sand mountains (as Katy called them)and ran down them like maniacs. Which is great fun! This I a must do if you are visiting OBX.

Unfortunately, I somehow forgot my camera at the house (probably because I was still in the food coma from my seafood dinner) so I had to use Mom and Dad's, so pics are coming soon!

Nags Head, NC - Part I

We got here last Wednesday (8/19/2009) and are here until next Sunday, and we've had a blast so far! Hurricane Bill came and went and really didn't pack to much of a punch and only sidetracked us from the beach 2 days. Here are a few pics from the first leg of our trip!

I love going on vacation but I hate to pack. Leave it to Katy to make packing fun! She is a hoot:)

Sprinkler Fun!

Today, Daddy was watering the lawn with our sprinkler system and Katy had a ball playing in it. She started out fully clothed and when all was said and done she was in her birthday suit! Although for her sake when she reads this in the years to come - I opted to keep some of those pictures unpublished:)You're welcome sweet pea!!

As the summer is winding down, Katy and I finally got Daddy to the pool! It was a hot and steamy Sunday, but we had fun cooling off and playing in the water:)

Metzger Family Reunion 09'

Our family reunion is always a blast and this year was no exception. The weather was humid but warm and no rain - YEAH!!
