Nutcracker

We were lucky enough to get some awesome tickets to see The Nutcracker at The Ohio Theatre (8th row center!!!). The Walton's got dressed up for a night downtown. The performance was amazing and Katy was mesmerized by the whole experience. This is definitely something we will try and make an annual tradition in our family!

Santa Clause

My brother's fire department in Pickerington (Violet Township) had Santa Clause in to visit the families of the fireman. It was an awesome event and Katy had a good time with all of the children!





Here he comes...








Katy finally got to tell Santa Clause, all she wanted for Christmas was a Yo-Yo and Little Mermaid perfume.

Weekday Surprise

Last week Katy and I stopped at the store to pick up a few odds and ends and who do we run into, but Santa Clause!! Katy was super excited and couldn't believe Santa was at Krogers (neither could I!). He was outside greeting the customers with his little helper and the whole way across the parking lot, Katy was yelling at him saying "Hi" and waving and COULD NOT wait until she got to the door.

Although once we got to Santa, this little girl hid behind my leg and wasn't as outgoing as she was a few minutes ago. This was shocking as this girl doesn't have a shy bone in her body! But once Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas, Katy came out from behind me, looked at him straight in the eye and said..."Perfume, please!". The look on his face was priceless and he said, "Well, that is something I don't hear everyday!" She then got her candy cane and we were off grocery shopping!




As you can see, she wasn't ready to sit on his lap. So we will see how it goes next weekend when she gets to see Santa again. He is visiting the Violet Fire Department to meet the families of the fireman and Uncle Chris invited us to attend!
