One of the best parts of my Fridays is lunch with Katy. Lately she has been partial to Panera and that is just fine with me. They have some pretty amazing mac n cheese and with a kids meal it comes with yogurt - that is 2 of Katy's favorites! Here she is enjoying her lunch and being my girl!!
Katy has been asking to be in gymnastics since she was 2 and I thought that was a little young for her to start something like that. I promised her that when she turned 3 I would get her involved in something. Well - that day is only about 3 weeks away so I thought I better get to my research.
I didn't have to look far because there is a dance studio in Sunbury called Northstar and I work out there in the mornings, and love the studio. So my search started and ended with them. Luckily a few weeks ago when I called to inquire about their toddler classes, one just started for her age group and it was a basic tumbling class. We tried it out and she started 3 weeks ago and she LOVES it!!
Here are a few pics, but they aren't the greatest because its through their window that the parents can view the class.
We took Katy out to breakfast before Todd and I headed to get an ultrasound of the baby on Friday, January 8th. She is a Daddy's girl and I LOVE them both to pieces!! For those who don't know the ultrasound revealed we have another baby girl on the way!!!
Katy eating her favorite, "macanoni n cheese". That is not a misspelling, that is exactly how Miss Katy pronounces it.
Obviously, this was a few weeks ago and as I type this I kind of miss the snow! Anytime it starts to snow, Katy gets very excited because she wants to take Daddy outside and wants to shovel the driveway - she loves to help!!!
So I'm a little behind in my blogging, because this post is about the Rose Bowl. We enjoyed watching the game on 01/01/10 with Papa Lin and Nana Neise before they left to go back to Missouri. Katy and Neise got their OSU tattoo's and were all fired up for the game!!
Hanging out with Papa Greg.
Posing to show off some of her new Christmas gifts.
Poor thing ran into the corner of the wall while dancing around.
Christmas evening was more fun on the Metzger side with more present, family and fun! Enjoy my slideshow, which I'd like to thank the Deans for the idea!!
Katy must have been a good girl, because Santa came and left many gifts and brought her what she asked for!! Before we could open gifts, she insisted she put on her "twirly dress"...I'm glad she liked her Christmas dress so much!! The rest of us opted to stay in our jammies!
This wooden rocking horse was a toy my brother and I had as kids. Papa brought it up from the basement and she LOVED riding it all day long!
She got the Little Mermaid perfume she was very adamant on telling Santa about.
This by far was her favorite gift - her harmonica!! She got a lot of musical instruments for Christmas and she has created her own little band:)
