O-H-I-O

So I'm a little behind in my blogging, because this post is about the Rose Bowl. We enjoyed watching the game on 01/01/10 with Papa Lin and Nana Neise before they left to go back to Missouri. Katy and Neise got their OSU tattoo's and were all fired up for the game!!

Hanging out with Papa Greg.

Posing to show off some of her new Christmas gifts.

Poor thing ran into the corner of the wall while dancing around.

Pedi & Mani by Aunt Bobo

Katy is such a lucky girl to have her Aunt Bobo do her fingers and toes!!

She is blowing her toes dry...this cracked me up!

A girl must accessorize!

New Years Eve

Nana Neise, Uncle Shad and Katy

Papa Lin and Tabi making a family favorite, Pronto Pups.

Aunt Bobo (Tabi Jo) and her boyfriend Josh, who Katy flirted with all night long!

Katy was very snuggly and obviously didn't make it to midnight.

Uncle Shad and Kelly

It's a Walton Christmas

Papa Lin and Nana Neise came in from Missouri to spend Christmas and New Years with us.

Christmas Evening

Christmas evening was more fun on the Metzger side with more present, family and fun! Enjoy my slideshow, which I'd like to thank the Deans for the idea!!

Santa Claus came to visit...

Katy must have been a good girl, because Santa came and left many gifts and brought her what she asked for!! Before we could open gifts, she insisted she put on her "twirly dress"...I'm glad she liked her Christmas dress so much!! The rest of us opted to stay in our jammies!

This wooden rocking horse was a toy my brother and I had as kids. Papa brought it up from the basement and she LOVED riding it all day long!

She got the Little Mermaid perfume she was very adamant on telling Santa about.

This by far was her favorite gift - her harmonica!! She got a lot of musical instruments for Christmas and she has created her own little band:)

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a great day to be indoors and just enjoy the start of the holiday. I wrapped presents most of the day and Katy got a chance to open the first of her presents she received from some out of town relatives.

Aunt Tiffany, Uncle Christopher and cousin Rowen sent their gift from Colorado...

Katy decided they needed to be lined up so she could get a good view of her new books! This girl is a reader!!

Next, was a gift from Lake Tahoe, Nevada from Aunt Stevie and Aunt Lynn.

It was a Fisher Price Smart Cycle...she enjoyed riding a bike in the house while playing video games!

Christmas Eve night we spent the night at Grandma and Papa Metzger's to await Santa's arrival. Grandma was reading the "Night before Christmas" to her before bedtime.
