Afternoon snack...

Usually on the weekdays once I get Katy home from the sitters, its snacktime. It started out with pretzels and peanut butter - Katy's latest favorite! Although this day she had a new twist to her snack - she wanted to dip a Twizzler too. So out of curiosity to see if she'd go through with it - I gave in and it was pretty funny and of coarse - she LOVED it! Plus I love to hear her say the word "Twizzler".

New Shoes

Mommy needed a new pair of work out shoes so the family went to Mommy's favorite place - DSW! Katy had just as much fun as I did trying on shoes and opening boxes.

You may have already guessed her expression is one telling me again - "No pictures, Mommy!"

Let's Play!

Todd has a dart board in the garage and he and the boys played all weekend. Katy was disappointed that she couldn't play with them since she could get hurt. Daddy decided he would cheer her up and went out bought her one of her own (with soft points) and of coarse - she was THRILLED! Daddy's little girl:)

Family Reunion 09

Todd's sister Tiffany and his nephew Rowen came in from Colorado for their annual visit. We had an awesome time and Katy had a great time playing with her cousin. He was so sweet to her and they got along like they'd never been apart! Here are a few pics...

This may look like cruel and unusual punishment - but Tabi (our master picker) had the mission to retieve a ginormous booger from Katy's nose. She was a good patient!


Rowen and Katy were very disappointed that the pool water was only about 70 degrees and to cold to swim.

Summertime officially begins - NOW!

Our pool is up and Todd and Katy got their first swim time in tonight! She loves the water especially with Daddy!

We had a picnic lunch at a playground in Westerville on Friday and had a ball. Don't let her look fool you in some of the pics, she gets that look when I pull out the camera. She says, "No cheese, Mommy! I don't want my picture taken." I guess it's worn out its welcome in the past 2 years. Although I haven't given up and will take a picture no matter what face I get - they're all still cute!

Megan graduated from highschool last weekend!! Everyone is so proud of you!! I know you have GREAT things in store for you - you are very special to our family!

Girls night out!

A girls night out with my Mom, Susie and Mel. We went to see Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum and we had a great time! The seats were a little far away - but the concert was AWESOME and we danced all night long!!I I don't think Katy missed me to much, she was in all her glory with my Dad and Todd...I'm sure she was spoiled rotten - she has both of them wrapped around her finger!

Friday Fun Day

Meg is a 4 year old that Katy gets to spend 4 days a week with at the sitters. I had the pleasure to have her to our house to play with Katy today and we had a blast! We went for a wagon ride around the block, played on the swingset and blew bubbles. It was a fun day and we can't wait to have her back. She and Katy play well together and Meg is such a sweetheart! A great start to our Memorial weekend:)

Grandma Sandy - Happy Mother's Day!!

Grandma Sandy came down from Toledo last Saturday for a belated Mother's Day. We had a great day and I think she loved her gift! We made her a photo book of Katy's first 2 years. It was fun to make and fun to give! We love you!
