Katy got cowboy boots while we were in Missouri and she LOVES them, but there aren't many opportunities to be able to wear them in the summer. Although she insisted on putting them on to play outside and I couldnt say "No", she looks so cute in them!!
Can you guess why she has that scowl on her face? May be its because I have the camera out again...bad Mommy!
The Dean family recommended the New Albany community pool and so Katy and I went today for some girl time!! (Todd went out to play with his Daddy!!) So after nap time, we went to the pool and had a blast:) This girl is fearless and just had an awesome time playing and meeting new friends. This pool is ideal for little kids and is like a mini water park for a great price! Two thumbs up in my book!!
Our timing was off in the beginning and just after she got started to play it was rest period - although a snack was a bribe to keep her happy until she could get back in. Even the tunnel slides didn't intimidate her! Time to go, but we will be back!
Todd's Dad and step-Mom are in town from Missouri for the 4th of July and so the fun begins! Of coarse they brought Katy presents and she took no time in getting them open and on to the next.
While we were in Missouri a month ago I got Katy's 2 year pictures taken...and I had some special ones taken for Todd that were a surprise. So I had a collage made from them and they can hang in his office in our new house. He loved the pics and I think was speechless when he opened his present!!
If you double click on this pic you can see it full size and get a better look at the collage. Happy Father's Day Papa!!
Every year for a very long time I've made a trip up to the firehouse to celebrate my brother's birthday...and now this traditon is even more special now that I've got Katy! We had lunch with the guys and had a great time!!
Lunchtime - Katy's favorite time! My little cupcake face!
Last Friday we went to Blendon Woods to go swinging. Her one request was that we bring Grandma...so we picked her up and away we went. She enjoys swinging her "ni-night" in one swing and the flowers she picked and put in the other swing - so thoughtful! This was a great little playground specifically designed for 2-5 year olds - just her size!!
