8 months old

Ava is now 8 months old and she has such a fun and laid back personality!

Latest milestones:
--Her two bottom teeth have finally broken through the gum.
--She can wave "Hi" and "Good-bye".
--Ava can say "Hi" while waving, and she says, "Dada", "Momma" and "Bobo". Bobo is Todd's little sister (Tabi) and her nickname is Aunt Bobo.
--She pulls herself up on everything and walks around the furniture. She has started to stand on her own and tries to keep balanced. Her longest while standing on her own is about 10 seconds.

Her likes:
--Any and ALL FOOD! Especially real food!! We pretty much mash up what we are eating and give it to her and she gets so excited she can hardly breath!
--Playing with her sissy!!
--Her Momma!! Katy is a Daddy's girl and my one request was that the next was Momma's girl and I got it!! This girl just lights up when I walk in the room and I LOVE IT!!

Dislikes:
--She HATES getting her face and hands wiped clean once she is done eating!
--Her carseat is still her nemesis! She doesn't like to get bundled up or put in her carseat. She is better on car rides but would rather be free and moving.

Rubber Duckie Your the One!

Even bath time is more fun when you add another kiddo to the mix!! Both of them get so excited when its time to take a bath...you'd think it was the best thing we do around here:) I am just IN LOVE with my GIRLS!

Walton Family Christmas - they traveled from Missouri to visit us for a whole week! This is Nana Neesie and they are building a Gingerbread house which was made out of sugar cookies (very tasty!).

Ava is 7 months!!

This December has been a BUSY one and I can't believe its been over a month since I last posted! So I am combining 2 posts in one...Ava's 6 and 7 month pictures. These past 2 months with her have been so much FUN! She is a busy lil one and is always on the move and only stops to eat and sleep. She is the happiest baby and is pretty much content unless she is hungry and boy can this girl EAT! Although you'd never guess this from her her petite little body - but its probably because she moves so much she burns all those calories off! Her smile and eyes can light up the room and its so much fun watching her and Katy interact - its my entertainment and what I look forward to every day! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!

Ava's Baptism

On November 14th, Ava got baptised at St. John Neumann church. Her God-father, Shad Adams (Todd's best friend from childhood) is in the Army and got a last minute leave for the week, so it was thrown together within 48 hours. Currently, he is stationed Ft. Carson in Colorado.
