What a GREAT weekend!!

What a great weekend to get out and enjoy the weather!! Katy and I were on our way home from running a few errands on Friday and I spotted the playground at our church...so I turned in and we played for well over an hour and had a ball!!



She was posing for me and sayng "CHEESE" and this is what I got...she is silly!


Good thing those are the new shoes we just bought at the mall. I let her wear them home and then we stopped to play - everything thawed and you get lovely Ohio mud!

Disney on Ice

On Saturday we took Katy to see Disney on Ice as her birthday present. I wasn't sure how much she would like the show or if she'd sit still enough to enjoy the performance, but much to our surprise - she LOVED IT!!! During the entire show, she was mesmerized by the colors, skaters and music!! Todd and I both can't wait until we can go next year, because this will definitely be a Walton annual tradition.

Friday night dinner party

On Friday night we had a nice dinner party with some great friends plus two munchkins! We had a great time and of coarse Tyler and Katy did too!

Bathtime is always an adventure with these two and I can never get them both to look into the camera at the same time.



If you happened to notice the writing on the bath tub walls, Katy has crayons you can use in the bath tub and those are her drawings!! Although sometimes she'd rather eat them than draw...I hope she will eventually get beyond this phase of putting everything in her mouth!!


After bathtime, we had had movie time and watched Shrek (as much as you can with two active toddlers!)...it was fun though:)

A 2nd birthday to remember...

Saturday was Katy's 2nd birthday! We had an intimate birthday party at my parents house with Katy's friends, grandparents and her immediate aunt's and uncles. She had a great time and really enjoyed her day! It was fun to watch her play and understand that it was HER day:) It was a Valentine theme, because she will always be our heart and soul!

Birthday 2009

Lunch with friends...

As many of you know, I have Fridays off from work, so this day I dedicate for Katy and I to do something fun. This past Friday a long time friend of mine (Stephanie) from grade school got together and we had a play date for our girls. Katy made a new friend that day with Emily and we had a great time, plus we had a pre-birthday celebration!!

Does this remind you of a certain character from Batman? What a good Joker impersonation!!

Emily ate hers very dainty and barely made a mess - unlike Miss Katy! Isn't she adorable?!

Talented Grandma Denise

Happy Valentine's Day!!

For Valentine's Day, Todd made Katy and I our favorite meal...filet mignon, asparagus and garlic noodles - YUM!!! We shut off all the lights in the house and had a candlelight dinner - and Katy entertained us by singing "Happy Birthday". I hope everyone had a great day as well:)

Her 1st friend birthday party...

One of Katy's friend's (Meg) had her 4th birthday party at Magic Mountain over the weekend. Although Katy was the youngest of the bunch - she fit in with the older kids and had a ball! Here is a picture of the group. The ones I've named are her friends she met from the sitters house. They are a great group and the simply adore her - she is a lucky girl!

Peanut Butter & Jelly

As you can see, peanut butter and jelly are one of Katy's favorite foods!! She just cracked me tryng to lick it off her lips:) What a mess, but fun to watch...
